Cornwall Wildlife Trust – The Cornwall Wildlife Trust is the leading local charity working to protect and enhance Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places. Here at Cornish Sea Tours we also work with The Cornwall Wildlife Trust and we are a part of their Business Partnership program. We currently operate survey trips with volunteers from The Cornwall Wildlife Trust and The Cornwall Seal Group to provide essential marine wildlife data for the Trust.
SeaWatch Foundation – Seawatch Foundation is a national charity working to improve the conservation and protection of whales, dolphins and porpoises in British and Irish waters. As recommended boat operators for The SeaWatch Foundation we operate in a way that minimises disturbance to marine wildlife and will be actively involved in their National Whale and Dolphin Watch undertaking cetacean surveys for their national database.
Planet Whale – Planet Whale is a global partnership with an aim to make whale watching more sustainable and as recommended boat operators we operate in a sustainable manner with minimal disturbance to the marine wildlife we encounter.
Wise – The wise scheme seeks to minimise such unintentional disturbance through delivering training and accreditation to operators of registered passenger and charter vessels who wish to view marine wildlife. Cornish Sea Tours is accredited with Wise and will operate in a manner that allows for viewing of our amazing marine wildlife and an excellent education resource, but that allows the wildlife to maintain their wild nature.
Polzeath Voluntary Marine Conservation Area – Due to the amazing unspoilt marine landscape we have in the Polzeath area the PVMCA aims to protect and conserve the marine environment, raise awareness and increase understanding of the marine environment and encourage education and research within the marine environment. Here at Cornish Sea Tours we try to help fulfil these aims as best we can and support the PVMCA with survey trips and attendance at their events.
